The client came with a vision for a new idea of a community café in Qatar. The challenge was to develop an entire concept from the naming, branding and retail store interior. We were also asked to create an experience that caters to the habits of the local community while also introducing a feeling of community space that an artist would feel at home in to generate ideas.
solution

The name we chose was Kalo Kitchen, Kalo meaning ‘good’ in Greek. The brand we created is very simple, and portrays a rustic look and feel that the client requested. As well as a space that inspires budding artists, and gives them an opportunity to exhibit their work, the café also promotes home made delicacies.
